This is a movie of biological productivity every 3 hours for 60 days. It is the output from our coupled ROMS+DARWIN simulation at 2km horizontal resolution, with tides, and high-resolution WRF atmospheric forcing. ROMS is a complete ocean modeling software system with various methods for simulating the hydrodynamics, and DARWIN is a state-of-the-art trait-based biogeochemical model developed at MIT.
